  • I ran the Keto life pretty hard last year and wanted to share my experience! This diet macros was low carbs moderate protein and high in healthy fats. Standard Keto diet. I started by following the Adkins 20 plan which essentially is Keto. I did this because it was much easier to use there premade meals to get my portion control in check. Once I got that in line I moved to meal prepping 3 times a week. Chicken and green beans were my go to. I stayed between 1500-1200 calories and kept my carbs down to 40-50g a day. The power of Keto is real as the results were astounding in just a short five months. Keep in mind this was done with no alcohol consumption and very strict diet - NO cheat meals.
  • Is there anything more high intensity then a cut throat game of hoops with your friends? Get some friends together and have fun while getting in some great HIIT training! "I am an adult and all my friends are at work" - feel your pain. Try this workout instead. Sprints (5): Sprint from one end of the court to the other, running forward and then jogging back backwards. Repeat 5 times total. Lateral Hops (30): Jump over and then back along the full court line, facing forward the whole time. Do 30 hops total 1-2 lengths of the court Side Shuffles (6): Do Side shuffles the full distance of the court and back. Repeat 6 times total. This entire workout should take no more than 20 minutes tops and will have you sweating like a pig!
  • We made this forum category just for the hell of it! Something fun to do. One thing I did when starting my personal fitness journey was focus on the compound lifts - squats, bench press, pull ups, bent over rows, and the almighty dead lift. Everyone that lifts have been asked "how much do you bench bro?" No one but other lifters ask where your dead lift is at or if you even do them. I started my deads sub 1 plate ( > 135 lbs) and I am proud to say my PR right now is 460 lbs which is not bad for a guy that weighs around 170 lbs. I would love to get to 700 lbs. It is very ambitious for a guy my size but completely doable.
