We made this forum category just for the hell of it! Something fun to do.


One thing I did when starting my personal fitness journey was focus on the compound lifts - squats, bench press, pull ups, bent over rows, and the almighty dead lift.


Everyone that lifts have been asked "how much do you bench bro?" No one but other lifters ask where your dead lift is at or if you even do them.


I started my deads sub 1 plate ( > 135 lbs) and I am proud to say my PR right now is 460 lbs which is not bad for a guy that weighs around 170 lbs.


I would love to get to 700 lbs. It is very ambitious for a guy my size but completely doable.
